Some of my freelance projects:

• Plone maintenance and development (Python, Zope, Plone, ZPT, CSS)
  

• iPhone app development (in progress -Objective-C)
  

Web application development, system maintenance and Plone consulting. Some of my work consisted of:

• working on a team developing Plone applications (including one with 1000+ hours of development and extensive use of external webservices using SOAP)
  

• bug-fixing Plone products for hosting customers
  

• system maintenance: supporting and sometimes implementing systems using Debian and CentOS Linux, Squid, Apache, nginx, linux-vserver, Nagios, Trac and munin
  

• migrating Plone installations to newer versions
  

• maintenance of some Plone and PHP applications
  

Web development using mostly PHP, HTML, CSS, Javascript and MySQL. Some of my work consisted of working on a team developing:

• an intranet (PHP, HTML, Javascript and MySQL)
  

• small internal applications (mostly PHP and Javascript, sometimes ASP)
  

• the university website
  

• a help-desk system (I did design and development, PHP, HTML, CSS, Javascript and MySQL)
  

• maitenance scripts (Perl)
  

Before going to development I did technical support for 1.5 years.

I love to work with elegant languages and tools such as Python, Ruby, git and Emacs.

I have more "real-world" experience using Python and PHP, but I would love to work with other languages too - specially Ruby, Javascript and Erlang.

I'm currently learning / playing with Erlang, Objective-C and CouchDB.

I helped many Python-related initiatives like:

• starting a TurboGears community;
  

• contributing with the Grok framework with both documentation and code;
  

• starting a user group in a local university;
  

• being a (now former) member of Associação Python Brasil (the brazilian equivalent to Python Software Foundation);
  

• helping users in mailing-lists and IRC channels.
  

I've also worked on the development of gocept.zeoraid, a replication tool for ZODB, during a Google Summer of Code Project for Zope Foundation.
